PKK: Frisbee and Pita Pizzas

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Princess Kaitlyn. She lived in a beautiful castle by an enchanted forest, a magical lake and a fantastically fun playground. On a beautiful sunny Saturday, Princess Kaitlyn skipped down to the fantastically fun playground to play on the swings. While she soared through the sky on the swings, she noticed a group of jack rabbits from the enchanted forest playing a frisbee game.

Princess Kaitlyn got off her swing and trekked over to the field where the jack rabbits were playing. She asked them if they would teach her the frisbee game so she could play with them. They eagerly welcomed an additional player and taught Princess Kaitlyn how to throw the frisbee, catch the frisbee, and the rules of their game. The object was to score a goal by throwing the frisbee to teammates and crossing the goal line. Princess Kaitlyn played on the blue team of jack rabbits against the yellow team. Of course, Princess Kaitlyn and the blue team won by one point over the yellow team. After the game, the jack rabbits showed Princess Kaitlyn how to give the other team members high fives and thank them for the great game and hard effort.

It was so much fun that Princess Kaitlyn invited both teams back to the castle to for lunch. In light of their playing frisbee, Princess Kaitlyn decided to make pita pizzas. They were delicious - she ate a whole one all by herself!

Princess Kaitlyn's ingredients
  • Whole Wheat Pitas
  • Homemade Marinara Sauce
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Drained Mild Italian Sausage
  • Roasted Garlic

Princess Kaitlyn tossed the pitas up like pizza dough (she saw this on George).

Princess Kaitlyn spread marinara sauce onto each pita.

Princess Kaitlyn added Italian sausage to the pizzas. Mommy added the roasted garlic - Princess Kaitlyn decided she didn't want any garlic on her pizza.

Now it was time to add the cheese to her pizzas.
Tah-dah!! Pita pizza was ready for the oven.
Yummy pita pizzas. Princess Kaitlyn anxiously checked the oven waiting patiently to eat them.
