December Treats

The month of December brought lots of sweet fun.

Kaitlyn decorated Santa Clause cookies with a friend. Taylor's mommy brought all the goodies to make these adorable Santa Clause cookies with Nutter Butter cookies, white candy melts, mini-chocolate chips, red sprinkles and red hots.

Aren't they cute!!

Mommy and daddy had fun in the kitchen too. We baked our favorite mint chocolate brownies (picture is from before I cut them up).

This year we added corn flake wreaths to our holiday cookie collection. They turned out pretty good. We also made sugar cookies (for a party below) and super dupers (a delicious chocolate cookie). They are all calling my name out in my refrigerator.

Kaitlyn invited several friends over for a cookie decorating party. We, parents and kids, had a great time!

Kaitlyn and Georgina tried to sneak bites of the leftover icing. They were so funny trying to hide below our island.

Kaitlyn's preschool class hosted a small holiday party. The teacher asked me to bring in a sweet treat. She must know I like to bake. :-) I figured you can't go wrong with chocolate M&M cupcakes decorated like Santa Clause.

Kaitlyn decorated this cupcake. She did a really good job!!

Mommy made several of these for Kaitlyn and her classmates.

A special cupcake I made for daddy. Transporting these to school with the hats would have been impossible, so I just made these for home.
We love making sweet treats around the holidays and eating them too!!
