Kaitlyn's Five!

Kaitlyn had a wonderful birthday!  She started off the day with breakfast pancakes and a present from her little sister.  She then headed to school to celebrate with her friends by sharing cupcakes and showing them how to use a marionette puppet that she got in St. Louis.

After she got home from school (it was a rainy day unfortunately), she chose to watch 12 Dancing Princesses and decided to dance along with them.

The birthday girl selected homemade pizza and broccoli for her birthday dinner.  It looks delicious and tasted it too!  Gamma Linda and Pa Clinton arrived just in time for dinner.

Kaitlyn opening Uncle Tim's gift - Lego Friends.  Kaitlyn and I put her new treehouse together.  Yes - all 191 pieces.  Madelyn despartly wanted to get her hands on them.

Shortly after dinner and Lego building, Kaitlyn opened more gifts.

Despite having cupcakes at school, we saved some for a family celebration.  Happy 5th birthday Kaitlyn!!  Everyone enjoyed them.

The next morning, while mommy worked on making Kaitlyn's birthday party pirate ship cake, Gamma Linda played with the girls and Kaitlyn's new presents.  Madelyn finally got her hands on those Legos!
