Kindergarten Concert and Last Day of School

Kaitlyn's school had a kindergarten concert at the end of the school year.  Each student walked across the stage and announced their favorite thing they learned over the school year.  Kaitlyn's proudest accomplishment was learning to read.

Kaitlyn's class sang "Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall" and "1st grade here we come" to the Adams family theme music.  It was fun to watch and see how much the kiddos grew over the year.

After the concert, Madelyn and I went home.  She wanted to hold the flowers her friend Jason brought her on her birthday.  I love the chivalry is not dead. ;-)

OMG
Kaitlyn's Last Day of Kindergarten

Kaitlyn with her kindergarten teacher.  Kaitlyn loved Miss H.  Kaitlyn told me she wants to be a kindergarten teacher like Miss H. when she grows up.

While the mommies reminisced about the school year, Madelyn and her friend decided to read on teh sidewalk.

The younger siblings waiting for big sisters and brothers to leave school.

Here come our upcoming first graders...

Kaitlyn and Madelyn say "we'll see you next year school!"

After school, three of us moms took the kiddos (six in all) to see a movie, which worked out well since it was a rainy day.  It was Madelyn's first movie.  She loved it!!
