We shared a wonderful Independence day with friends. The weather was warm, but not overbearing. We started the day off at the pool.
One of our friends hosted all of us for dinner. The kids had their own table. This table looks much bigger and sturdier than the 'kid' tables I used to eat on as a young kid.
Time to get ready for fireworks!
We saw the community fireworks and arrived at an offsite location suggested by friends. It worked out great as the we missed much of the traffic afterwards. The kids had a great time!!
The kids enjoyed playing ball-net-O while the adults took turns chasing the ball down the sidewalk.
Red, white and blue popsicles - Kaitlyn will break for those anytime!
And the fireworks begin...
Madelyn started clapping and cheering right away. It was super cute!!
Kaitlyn liked to see the fireworks, but did not like the sound.
Sitting with daddy made it more fun!
